In late 2006, a collaborative of community agencies led by the MISS Foundation, in conjunction with the Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Foundation and Arizona State University’s West Campus, intends to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross with the launch, in metro Phoenix, of the world’s first

Elisabeth House—Community Compassion Center.

A true community building initiative, the Elisabeth House brings together governmental agencies, community nonprofits, clinicians, fire and police departments, schools, court systems, healthcare providers, and the public to create a “community of caring” for people grieving the death of a loved one.
