OfflineHello Everyone
I have been thinking about people with a terminal illness or their dearest is. They may come to this website, then forum in the hope of finding some comfort from others in a similar position. The person may be alone or feel that they are not being taken seriously by those near to them. This puts them in a wretched position of being unable to talk of their feelings. Many are told 'Oh we all die at some time' While this is true it is not helpful for they are on the final journey of their earthly life; a journey which should never be travelled alone.
Does anyone feel that having some sort of informal supprt group would be useful. After all those suffering have probably read the works of Elisabeth Kubler Ross and would love to have her support as they reach various stages on thier journey. Unfortunately this is impossible but we could exchange that which has been helpful and truly act in the spirit of Elisabeth. If just one person living in isolation felt they could turn to this forum then more than can be imagined will have been achieved.
Love
Gerald
