OfflineHello Everyone
I have been thinking a lot about you all today and wondering how you all are. I have, today, tried to be very firm with Spammers. It is so annoying to have the forum blocked by SPAM.
I was rather hoping that we might get some discussions going. I want you all to feel that if you are grieving, feeling desperately alone or just don't know which way to turn that you would feel free to write to the forum and perhaps together we can supply the comfort you need. Also you may want to discuss Elisabeth's philosophy. Personally I am extremely interested in Elisabeth's spiritual experiences and how brave she was to write about them. I have worked with dying patients both adults and children for very many years. I think you know that I have been a medium and spiritual healer for around 60 years. I was drawn to the spiritual aspects of Elisabeth's work because her experiences resonated with mine. Of course a very difficult problem to cope with is physical loss. About 5 weeks ago my wife and I had to have the last of our rescue cats euthanised while she was still under anaesthetic. She was totally riddled with cancer. Her name was Bell, well it still is. She visits the house in spirit and it is lovely to see her. What I am still aware of is that I miss Bell's physical presence. She was a beatiful cat who liked everything her own way, which she got :-) The other day I asked myself just how much longer the feeling of physical loss would last. It is wonderful to see Bell in spirit but OH to stroke her and tickle her tummy. This led me to think olf people on the forum and people who haven't found us yet. It is very very true to say that a human or animal has gone to a better place but what we wouldn't give for a cuddle or to see the beautiful smile that we associate with a loved one who has passed over.
Can we try to make use of this forum. I nagged Elisabeth's son Ken about there being no outlet in the United Kingdom. Ken has my eternal thanks for setting up the forum we are now using. Please, don't let my nagging be in vain :-)
With my fondest love to you all

OfflineHello
I am new to this group, and I joined as I am finding it difficult to let my mother rest in peace. She died in hospital in February 1st 2010. As you can see it is just over 2 years since my mother passed away and still grieving.
Finally as I am new to this site – I will be looking through this site in the hope that I may be inspired by others to help and empower me with ways in dealing with my grief.
Best wishes all
Michael Anthony Snaith
