Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Foundation Education Series Fall 2021: On Life, Death, and Life after Death
Inspired by Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’ many lectures and articles, as well as her books, Death: The Final Stage of Growth (1975), On Life After Death (1991), and The Tunnel and the Light (1999).
When we come to terms with death as part of our human development, death, through the wisdom and experiences of the dying, can provide us with a key to the meaning of our human existence. With the guidance and inspiration from Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’ far-reaching, comprehensive, and thought-provoking legacy, we learn from international experts in the fields of grief and end-of-life to acknowledge and connect with the sensitive, original, insightful findings on death, dying, and the afterlife.
TOPICS INCLUDE: symbolic language, dreams and visions, mystical experiences through loss, grief, and end of life, consciousness, human connection to the cycles of nature, death as a cycle of life, near death experiences, and more.
CLASS FORMAT: 8 live Zoom sessions, recorded for replay. Participants will receive links to the recordings within 5 days of each live session. $85 USD includes all 8 sessions and access to recordings.
TEACHING DYNAMICS INCLUDE: lecture, practice, workshop, conversation, ritual, experiential, and others.

Death and Spirituality: On Life After Death – Introduction to the series & Elisabeth’s contributions
Ken is Swiss American, son of Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. Ken is the founder and president of the EKR Foundation Global. He also served on the board of the Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Center. Ken was the principal care provider for his mother in the last 9 years of her life until her passing in 2004. A professional photographer, he has photographed 100 countries towards his goal of 101.
Wilka is from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Wilka is president of Fundación EKR México Centro and deputy director of education of the EKR Foundation Global. She is a transpersonal psychologist, ordained minister, death doula, grief counselor, dream worker, educator, facilitator, writer, Tai Chi, Qigong & Taoist Inner Arts instructor, musician, photographer, performance artist, silversmith, baker, and mythmaker. Her interests include neurobiology of trauma, loss, grief, and relationships, conscious living & dying, ecopsychology, confectionery arts, and wine culture.
Dianne is Chief Innovation Officer for Acclivity Health Solutions, CEO of Hospice and Healthcare Communications, and member of the board of directors of the EKR Foundation Global. Her life is dedicated to helping seriously ill, dying and grieving people around the world live as fully as possible, believing that dying and grieving are personal (not just medical) journeys. Dianne is a Certified Death Doula, Grief Mentor, End of Life & Grief Education Content Producer, Film Producer, Researcher, On-camera Host, Award-winning Author, Global Keynote Speaker, Founder, Austin’s Kitchen Garden at Cura Orphanage, Kenya, and an Adventure, Nature & Animal Lover.

The Art of Dying
In 2004, Jose began creating art as a meditative tool. His art has now exhibited in galleries across the US and hangs in private and corporate collections worldwide. Jose founded Inner Immersion, LLC and Immersive Arts, LLP. He is a member of the Association of Transformational Leaders. Jose is featured in the Netflix docu-series, Surviving Death, and the Dr. Oz show. He regularly speaks on his near-death experience, and on Art as a Conduit for Healing.

Ilein is a woman of earth and sky, born in the territory of Chile. Guide and tireless teacher of thought and sound as a space for the evolution of consciousness and the development of the human lineage. She is a chanter, poet, and vocal interpreter of ethnic, tribal, aboriginal and devotional songs of the land, especially North African and Mapuche Pehuenchen, she practices and teaches Transcultural Shamanism, and works through the worldviews and cosmogonies of the Ches cultures of the South of Chile.

Living, Dying, and the Continuation of Consciousness
Marilyn is an acclaimed social scientist and award-winning author. She has conducted clinical, laboratory and field-based research into consciousness, human transformation, and healing. Her books include Living Deeply: The Art and Science of Transformation in Everyday Life; Consciousness and Healing: Integral Approaches to Mind Body Medicine; and Death Makes Life Possible. Having taught at Stanford, Harvard, and Trinity University, she is Professor of the doctoral program in Transpersonal Psychology at Sofia University, CEO/President Emeritus and Senior Fellow at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. She has published hundreds of articles in scholarly journals and popular publications, and has lectured extensively in diverse venues across the world.

Visitation Dreams and Visions: Comfort and Healing at the End of Life and in Grief
Jeanne has worked with people facing life-threatening illness for twenty years, including ten years as a hospice social worker. She has graduate degrees in psychology and social work, and now writes about dreams and end-of-life care. She is the author of Dreams at the Threshold: Guidance, Comfort and Healing at the End of Life (Llewellyn 2015) and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the International Association for the Study of Dreams.

Lei‘ohu is a Hawaiian spiritual leader, visionary, singer/songwriter, healer, and educator who advocates for the indigenous soul in all people, helping people connect with their selves, with Spirit, and the essence of Aloha. Lei’ohu’s talents and knowledge are honored and loved in her community and the world. Lei’ohu has received the Gandhi-King Peace Hero Award, the Peace Educator Award from the United Nations, the Woman of Honor award from Women’s History Month, the Educator Award from the Peace Corps, and the Malama Ka’Aina Award from the Sierra Club. She has shared her gifts all around the world throughout Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe and North America.

Dr. Parti currently practices Past Life Regression Healing through Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching. He is also a motivational speaker and has authored several books. His focus is on helping to heal others and help them look forward to a brighter future.
