In January 2026, the Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Foundation partnered with St. Luke’s Hospital in Singapore as part of the international celebration of Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’s 100th birthday.
The partnership was formally launched during St. Luke’s third Compassionate Care Conference, held January 29–30, 2026. The conference, themed Cultivating Cultural Compassion, brought together healthcare professionals, community leaders, and international speakers to explore compassionate approaches to aging, caregiving, grief, and end-of-life care.
During the opening session, St. Luke’s Hospital and the EKR Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The ceremony was attended by Guest of Honour Mr. Dinesh Vasu Dash, Singapore’s Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and Manpower, along with St. Luke’s Hospital CEO A/Prof Tan Boon Yeow, EKR Foundation President Ken Ross, and Vice-Chair Joan Marston.
The partnership also includes development of a Compassionate Community Program designed to support Singapore’s aging population through community education, compassionate care, and greater awareness of end-of-life issues. A special conference session also honored Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’s life and legacy during her centennial year.
