Pull Up a Chair
Elisabeth Kübler-Ross believed that the most important conversations about life, death, and loss happen when people come together and speak honestly. The Foundation’s live events carry that tradition forward. We have hosted more than 160 sessions so far, and the calendar keeps growing.
What You’ll Find
- Death Cafés, held online on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. Relaxed, open conversation about death and dying, with no agenda and no expertise required.
- Author talks and book discussions with the writers who are shaping how we think about the end of life and grief.
- Film and movie nights, followed by conversation about what we watched.
- Poetry sessions and writing classes for putting love, loss, and memory into words.
- Panels featuring some of our favorite people in hospice, palliative care, and grief support.
Whether you are a caregiver, a clinician, someone who is grieving, or simply curious, there is a seat for you. Come once and see what it’s like. Many people who do end up coming back.
